So what’s a trivet…. is it a predatory plant that grows to a giant size, has the ability to move and spits poison?.. no, we’re not selling those but triffids do sound awesome! What we are selling are decorative tiles on which you can place hot kitchen items (up to 260 degrees C) to protect your table from heat damage. Our stock items are produced with a beach theme painted on each tile, similar to that shown in the photo but please note that no two pieces will be the same. Occasionally we stray away from the beach theme and offer other pieces such as those shown in this gallery.
Note that each trivet is 20 cm square with cork backing and has been produced with acrylic paint and a special heat tolerant resin finish.
